Sometimes You just feel like sitting in the grass, waiting and letting the time pass. And as the Sun is setting, the Sky colours are getting different shades and the sun rays draw long shades, the views from our Javorový west take off get a new dimension. It is a stunning view.

What about flying these moments? When there is a nice breeze, our gliders surf the wave of the soft air and we are about to reach nirvana.

Do you want to experience that? Look out for the evening hours forecast and wait for the right moment at the Javorový or Prašivá west take-offs which we maintain for your training in our Beskydy Flying School.

Aren’t You able to fly on your own yet? Just book your place in the Elementary course in our School. The evening ridge-soaring is a favourite part of our training.

And if you wanted to present someone with an exceptional flying experience, just come, call or e-mail into our office and get the gift package or a voucher of a tandem flight and arrange flying for your loved one with one of our instructors.

We offered the possibility of staying at Flight Park Javorový for help with maintenance and finishing. And it worked.

We have newly painted guest rooms, all toilets and bathrooms, larch barriers installed on the walls, a finished and also improved upstairs kitchen with dining room, a redesigned El Speedo bar with a new coffee machine installed and programmed – and it calls for a try! El Speedo office repaired and most importantly also the classroom. Wood finish is newly sanded and waxed. We worked on the outdoor BudkaBar, we managed to rake piles of leaves, we hibernated the gravity water heating and we also had some fun and well-being, there was flying too, everything just as it should be.

I would like to thank everyone who went into it, as well as our instructors and assistants, because we also have a wonderfully cut, cleaned and tuned Javorový western take off with newly painted information boards. Such a November, in which we were able to meet our needs, is very nice. And with a clear conscience we can prepare for the celebration of the end of the year.

And what will we continue with?

So, by the end of the year we will install hanging larch cabinets in the rooms, improve the appearance of washbasins with beech wood, work on a new version of the utility program for the building and the entire Flight Park Javorový complex, complete a new version of the self-service bar program, start working on self-learning algorithms we want by the end of 2021 to integrate into the new version of building control, and many other details such as the completion of outdoor showers, stone walkways to the stage, the deployment of shrubs on the roof, etc. We just do not stop!

But what is really a challenge for the spring of 2021 – is the connection of fish farming to the hydroponic farm, which we tuned this year. This will be an action! So watch what’s next and if you want to join, get in touch.

We had been receiving more and more questions about the possibility of registering flights on El Speedo paragliders in XContest – a worldwide cross country flying competition. And so we started to solve it and the result is the addition of El Speedo paragliders to the XContest database.

El Speedo paragliders have been designed by Alexei Rakov for several years and the production takes place in the Sky Country company. The paragliders are certified by the Swiss company Air Turquoise SA under their Sky Country names. However, El Speedo paragliders have their own names for the Czech market (Bobby, Freddie, Jimmy, Ozzy, Janis, Olivier, …). If you have already entered your flying performance on the EL Speedo paraglider under its certification name, you can change it to the El Speedo name retrospectively.

In the menu My flights (in ČPP or in the World) in the column “action” just click on “edit flight” and there select your paraglider and then confirm with the button “send” and that’s it.

Hello Pilots,

we currently have foreign paragliding events suspended until the time when movement across borders is truly unrestricted. However, we have been flying thermally in the Beskydy Mountains for some time, so we would like to offer you an alternative training program in the form of thermal courses right here in the Beskydy Mountains.

Benefits are:

• easy travel without the use of borders and other complications with controls and possible quarantines,
• quality training and teaching in Flight Park Javorový,
• pleasant accommodation in rooms or tents in Flight Park Javorový, quietly with the family,
• organization of events precisely tailored to the current weather,
• in the course we will get acquainted with other terrains in the Beskydy,
• we have the opportunity to quickly move to other terrains in the Czech Republic.

The events will be on the same dates as this year’s Thermal Courses Abroad (Wednesday-Sunday, Saturday-Wednesday). In case of worse weather, we will negotiate operatively, as you are used to with us. The price for the course is the same, accommodation is cheaper and more comfortable, lower hills, but the training potential is still interesting.

Register in the same way as you would go to Thermal Training abroad until the borders are easily clear, count on the program and security in the Beskydy Mountains.

You can look forward to thermal flying lessons, daily weather analysis, training and development of your pilot knowledge and skills, in case of a windy day also a slope and practice of cross starts and evening fire – that is clear.
