For long time we thought with Karel Vrbenský, where to realize next paragliding expedition. We know, that some of our clients are hungry for expedition flying in wild mountains and looking for another interesting adventure. For this year expedition El Speedo XC bivouac we choose: Romania.
Romania is not as far as Kyrgyzstan, but offers an interesting mix of nature and human nature, which always reminds me Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to the ease of transport will experience more flying and yet we can afford to reduce the overall duration of the event a few days that we in Central Asia need for planes, preparing the site and air transport in the area.
El Speedo XC Emergency consists of an initial local flying a few moderately challenging XC daily stages in which always proceed as a group. But always true – what you cant fly, you must walk. Because we sleep on top of the hills in our own facilities.
On the route we will pilot motivate and encourage composed of: Dalibor Carbol and Karel Vrbenský.
A support can also expect the other driver in the form of emergency and safety collection van 4×4.
The potential for attractive XC flying in Romania is remarkably large. We planned route through several national parks are really wildly acting scenes. Further information and recommendations to all interested parties, of course we’ll detail treated.

- valid travel insurance
- valid insurance for rescue,
- ability to work with GPS.

Recommended raid pilot:
- suitable for El Speedo Pilot 4 and 5,
- pilots should be able to start precisely, to be able to land separately at a prearranged spot.
- pilots must manage thermal flying and foundations XC tactics crossing.
Number of participants: max. 6 pilots
Time El Speedo XC bivouac: 10 days.
