What is it all about and why is it different from our other courses

For long years we have followed the scheme of our basic course. This means training of inflating the glider, flights with low elevation and landing on saturdays and sundays. During the week we were doing nothing but flying from high-elevation mountains as the starting sites are not that busy. However this does not suit that much to those from you who want to fly from high mountains even during weekends. There is not much of holiday and not everybody wants to travel far far away to south only because of two days of flying.

We offer you three days of flying with assistance and overseeing by experienced instructor. We will provide you all gear and will give you a chance to try other gliders in your category from our test-centre. We will guide you through flying sites in Beskydy and share with you local knowledge and experience from these sites. We also provide transportation both among and straight up to the sites (where it is possible of course). We will help you with seeking your first thermals and fill up the gaps in your theoretical knowledge. Everything for just one day-off in your job.

Alternatively we can offer:

• ground handling, training of both types of inflating the glider
• accuracy landing

For whom:

maximally for 8 pilots, holders of valid pilot licence (at least Pilot) or with the personal record of training after completion of all mandatory tasks.

Transportation to sites:

• Land Rover Discovery 4wd (7 seats)

Accommodation

• Bungalows at Halina’s just under Javorový hill

We can also lend you:

• Gliders from our test-centre
• Variometer and GPS

• theoretical tuition, sharing local knowledge with analysis of weather conditions
