A TENT AND A SLEEPING PAD

This is an unpleasantly heavy tax for a need to sleep somewhere. When I’m somewhere in a civilization I sleep “below the roof” anyway. In contrast when I’m part of mountains, I try to fly fast to avoid a bad weather. I also don’t have enough food to sleep outside usually. If started to snow, I would have a really bad time. So, what kind of tent? I used to use a solid self-supporting Hannah RIDER 2 – costs about 4500 CZK and weights 2750 grams. To be honest, I used to carry it just like a backup. So if you know that you want to fly fast and you won’t stay in mountains more than necessary, you should consider if you really need to carry a tent. If you prefer to have a stopgap (“if something”) – have a look on a really light version single-layer tent for one person (for example Ferrino Sintesi 1 – the price is about 3000 CZK, the weight 1 kg. 1750 grams saved.

A SLEEPING PAD – Do not take it. You can sleep on the canopy for a few nights, or not? And what more, the canopy doesn’t occupy so much space in a small tent this way. More than 300 grams saved.
